BIRD JEWELRY
I didnt even realise i had a bird jewelry obsession untill this afternoon. (Also, fun fact, i just realised i’ve been spelling Jewelry wrong for ages. I’ve been spelling it ‘Jewlery’. I am an idiot. And also a university English student, haay).
Anyway, i’d spent the day out in central London with my family and was on my way home via Liverpool Street, when i noticed they had an Accessorize in the middle of the station. I’d just checked my bank balance and realised they’d put my student loan in two days early this term. I really wish they hadnt because i walked straight into Accessorize and walked around picking things up and buying them and ended up spending £30, even though i need that money to, you know, eat.
It was only when i got to the till that the saleswoman looked at me and went ‘Oh! You really liked the bird theme, dont you!’. (I should also mention i bought some underwear which also turned out to be patterned with birds. I didnt even notice. Apparently i subconsciously really love birds).
I regret nothing. I love them all. Especially the owl. (Look at it’s feathers! Fancy.)
(both necklaces and earings from accessorize.)
Ok, so, first of all im not going to pretend like i didnt just steal this idea from Mindy Kaling. Except a lot more people probably care about Mindy Kalings opinions on things than they do on mine. (And if you’re asking, who the hell is Mindy Kaling? Google. And read this blog. Your life will be changed for the better.)
So why the hell should you be following this? Because i think i have pretty good taste, i like to constantly recommend to people what they should be buying/watching/visiting/reading/looking at and, unlike Mindy Kaling, im a broke ass student so the things i like are usually pretty easy to go and do/buy/experience yourself.
Im like Cosmo without all the sex advice.
